Visitors Information

The 7th New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix takes place on Sunday 9th July 2017. There will be events and entertainment for everyone throughout the day with the grand prix during the afternoon. From 10:00 am until 4:00 pm there will be activities on the recreation ground with entertainment for all and pedal cars on display in the ' parc ferme'.

Racing will take place at 1:00 am (Practice Sessions) and the Race itself at 2:00 pm.

The race can be viewed from anywhere around the 1km track which takes in most of Station Road and part of Old Milton Road, from the traffic lights to the Elm Avenue car park entrance. Perhaps the best views can be obtained from the traffic lights area for the start/finish, The tight turns at the north and south ends of station road always provide plenty of action with drivers crashing out as they try to take the hairpins too fast and the pit action can be observed from the east side of north Station Road, looking across the track.

The winning teams will be presented with their trophies immediately after the race, at the finishing line by the traffic lights. Don't stand too close though if you don't appreciate being soaked in champagne!

Plenty of parking will be available for visitors but expect the town to be very busy, so please drive carefully.

All the town's car parks will be available but don't forget that normal car park charges will apply. If you choose to use street parking please show consideration for local residents. Alternative overflow parking will also be provided for the event. The town centre will be closed to traffic from about 8am to 6pm and motorists are advised to observe the temporary road signs and divert in a clockwise direction around the town centre.

The Track will be right in the very centre of town. Click on the track to read all about it.
